Welcome to Lily & Mint!

I am very excited to welcome you all to Lily & Mint Weddings and Events. I have been planning events since 2008 under the name Daffodil Events, and my sister Johanna and I recently joined forces to create Lily & Mint. We are going to be working together to create personal and beautiful events. We decided on this name for a couple of reasons. My late grandmother was named Elizabeth Lily Frenkel. Everyone called her Lily, and so this is in some ways a tribute to her. She was a truly amazing woman and grandmother! We also just wanted to make our name more personal and to represent family, which is one of the most important aspects of weddings - the coming together of families.

While lilies are very beautiful and delicate flowers, mint to me represents all of that is fresh and new. In this way, we are forging the old and vintage (which we truly love) with more modern elements. We are both very excited to be working together to create beautiful and timeless weddings and events!
